Google News Archive Make Searching Easier Through Newspapers

Google News archive, an extension of Google News that went live on June 6, 2006, has now got a whole new look. With an aim to offer a better user experience, Google has recently redesigned its news archive and the latest app software will now make searching through newspaper easier.

We know how daunting it is to search for an old newspaper article or a page – just like searching a pin from grass. In olden times, you had no other way but to visit the microfiche section of the library, sit there for hours and search through the old bundles. And now, it’s all easy just at your fingertip.

The home page of the news archive will have numerous newspaper arranged systematically by title. Now you can simply click a newspaper, search the content, search for other newspapers and even issues from selected dates.

So basically this makes it all easy for you to search any particular time period and check out what happened during that period, say when you were born or when you were not in the town etc.

Google is constantly working on its android software development process and seems to be utilizing technology to the fullest in order to make everything easily accessible to you through internet.

Apple Working On A Device That Can Predict Heart Attack

After iPod, iPhone and iPad, Apple is now working on a device that can predict heart attack.

Rumours have been around for quite some time that Apple is exploring medical devices and automobiles in 2014. Although there is no such report that can validate the rumour about Apple’s inclination towards automobiles, a recent report by the San Francisco Chronicle, however, strongly backed the rumour about the medical device.

According to the San Francisco Chronicle report, Apple is working with audio expert Tomlinson Holman, the inventor of THX and 10.2 surround sound, to launch a heart attack prediction device.

This device will work on the sensor technology and will focus on the sound created by blood while circulating through the arteries. And as it sounds, it’s clear that this device should be in contact with the body. The device is probably indicating towards the rumoured iWatch, the upcoming wearable device by Apple. However, there is no such mention on the report by the chronicle.

The report also mentioned about the recently held closed-door meeting between Apple and Tesla but nothing much is known about the meeting, its agenda or what all discussions they have had.

But so far the medical device is concerned, there are even reports that Apple has hired Mercilo Malini Lamego, a medical-device expert and also that the company is working towards releasing health-focussed Apps for iOS.

After going through the news, I genuinely feel that if Apple can successfully launch this device - so called iWatch - then this will not only be a new milestone for the company but also a great and impactful step towards preventing heart attacks and saving lives.
